The Way of the Kingdom

A life formed by Jesus. A people shaped by His reign

WHAT IS THE WAY?

More Than Belief. A Way of Life.

When Jesus began His ministry, He didn’t start with a system of beliefs or a religious institution. He came announcing good news: “The Kingdom of God is at hand.”

The Way of the Kingdom is not a formula for self-improvement or a pathway to religious success. It is an invitation into a different center of life, one shaped by allegiance to Jesus, animated by His Spirit, and grounded in His reign.

This Way is not merely learned; it is lived.
Not mastered; received.
Not walked alone; shared together.

WHY THE KINGDOM MATTERS

Much of modern Christianity has emphasized forgiveness without formation, belief without transformation, and salvation detached from everyday life. But Jesus preached a Gospel that restored both relationship with God and alignment with His rule.

The Kingdom of God answers the deeper questions:

  • What does it mean to follow Jesus here and now?

  • How does faith reshape our identity, priorities, and relationships?

  • What kind of people are we becoming under Christ’s reign?

The Way of the Kingdom brings coherence back to the Christian life
by re-centering belief, practice, and purpose on the life of the King Himself.

Our Priorities

These seven priorities are not steps to complete or boxes to check. They are orienting realities, anchors that shape how we follow Jesus and live as Kingdom people in the world.

1. Christ-Centered Living

Jesus is not simply the starting point of the Christian life. He is the source, sustainer, and goal. Christ-centered living means learning to live from His indwelling life rather than striving through self-effort. Everything flows from intimacy and union with Him.

2. Kingdom Over Religion

The Kingdom of God is not synonymous with religious systems or traditions. This priority calls us to allegiance over affiliation, choosing faithfulness to the King above cultural Christianity, performance-based faith, or institutional identity.

3. Discipleship Through Community

Formation happens in relationship. We are shaped not only by what we believe, but by how we live together. This priority emphasizes shared life, mutual submission, and intentional discipleship within authentic community.

4. Freedom from the World System

The values of the Kingdom stand in contrast to the patterns of the world. This priority invites us to unlearn false measures of success, power, and security—and to live free from competing allegiances that distort our devotion to Christ.

5. Radical Grace & Repentance

Grace is not permission to remain unchanged—it is the power that makes transformation possible. Repentance is not shame-based sorrow, but a joyful return to alignment with God’s heart and ways.

6. Mission as a Lifestyle

Mission is not an activity reserved for special moments or locations. It is the natural overflow of a life shaped by the Kingdom. This priority reframes mission as presence, love, and faithful witness in everyday life.

7. Scripture Through the Lens of the Kingdom

The Bible tells one unified story—the story of God’s Kingdom revealed through Jesus. This priority helps us read Scripture not as fragmented rules or moral lessons, but as a coherent narrative that forms us into Kingdom people.

HOW THIS IS PRACTICED

How We Walk This Way

The Way of the Kingdom is practiced slowly, relationally, and intentionally.

We create space for formation through:

  • Teaching rooted in Scripture and the life of Jesus

  • Community gatherings centered on participation, not performance

  • Honest dialogue and shared discernment

  • Rhythms of prayer, reflection, and obedience

  • Learning to live the Kingdom in ordinary life

We believe transformation happens not through pressure, but through presence.
God’s presence among a surrendered people.

Forest Trail Path

An Invitation to

Walk in the Way

The Way of the Kingdom is not reserved for the spiritually elite or the theologically certain. It is for anyone who senses there must be more to following Jesus than what they’ve experienced so far.

If you’re hungry for a faith that is alive, integrated, and centered on Christ—this Way is open to you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You simply have to be willing to follow.
